Lehigh Little League - Instructional 2

The 5 and 6 year olds participate in the Fundamentals of Baseball / Softball where the emphasis is on skill development for catching, hitting, and throwing. There are no regularly scheduled games for this division, however, at the discretion of the manager, they may scrimmage the other teams.

The 7 year old division is an Advanced Training division that has regularly scheduled games starting approximately 3 weeks into the season. These games are coach pitched and no scores are kept. The emphasis is to develop these players in the concepts and skills of baseball in a game atmosphere.

A player coming into the league at league age five could play three years of training school before advancing to the Minors.
